Legal Notice: These Terms of Service are intended to comply with applicable laws of the State of North Carolina and are written for use by a residential cleaning services business operating within North Carolina.

Welcome to Ascend Cleaning Pros. By booking, scheduling, or receiving cleaning services from Ascend Cleaning Pros LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Services

Ascend Cleaning Pros provides residential and commercial cleaning services, including recurring cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, office cleaning, and add-on services. Commercial services may include offices, professional buildings, retail spaces, and other non-residential facilities.

Services are performed according to the package or scope selected at the time of booking or outlined in a commercial service agreement.

2. Scheduling & Access

Customers are responsible for providing accurate scheduling information and ensuring safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled service time.

Commercial Access & Security: For commercial properties, the client is responsible for providing accurate access instructions, keys, lockboxes, alarm codes, security procedures, and authorized entry methods. Ascend Cleaning Pros is not responsible for false alarms, security system activations, fines, or access issues caused by incorrect, missing, or outdated information provided by the client.

Lock-Out or No-Show: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that Ascend Cleaning Pros has access to the property at the scheduled service time. If the customer is not present and no prior access arrangements (such as a lockbox, key, or entry code) have been made—or, for commercial clients, if alarms are not disabled or access is otherwise restricted—and the cleaning professional is unable to enter the property, a $50 lock-out fee will apply.

The lock-out fee covers time, travel, and scheduling disruption and is non-refundable, except in cases of a verified emergency as determined at the sole discretion of Ascend Cleaning Pros.

If our cleaning team is unable to access the property within 15 minutes of arrival, the appointment may be considered a lock-out or late cancellation and subject to the applicable fees.

3. Cancellation Policy

We value our cleaners’ time and schedule commitments. The following cancellation fees apply:

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service: No fee.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service: $50 cancellation fee.

Cancellations made within 1 hour of the scheduled service time or same‑day no‑shows: 50% of the total cleaning price.

All cancellation fees will be charged to the card on file.

4. Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours in advance are free of charge.

Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a $25 rescheduling fee.

Repeated short-notice rescheduling may result in refusal of future service.

4A. Force Majeure (Weather & Emergencies)

Ascend Cleaning Pros shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, road closures, illness, emergencies, or other events that make service unsafe or impracticable. In such cases, services will be rescheduled without penalty.

5. Payments & Billing

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. By booking a service, you authorize Ascend Cleaning Pros to charge the payment method on file for services rendered, including any applicable cancellation or rescheduling fees.

Prices are subject to change at any time. Promotional pricing applies only to the specific service and timeframe advertised.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes: Customers agree to contact Ascend Cleaning Pros directly to resolve billing concerns prior to initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Unauthorized or improper chargebacks may result in suspension of service and responsibility for associated administrative fees.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will make reasonable efforts to address the issue, which may include a re‑clean of the affected areas at our discretion. Refunds are not guaranteed.

7. Supplies & Equipment

Our cleaning professionals arrive equipped with standard cleaning supplies and tools. Customers must notify us in advance of any special product requests or restrictions.

We are not responsible for damage caused by faulty or improperly installed items, normal wear and tear, or pre‑existing conditions.

8. Safety, Valuables & Commercial Property

Please secure valuables, cash, fragile items, and personal documents prior to service. Ascend Cleaning Pros is not responsible for loss or damage to items not reasonably secured.

Commercial Property & Equipment: Ascend Cleaning Pros is not responsible for damage to or disruption of IT equipment, servers, data systems, wiring, specialized machinery, or confidential or proprietary documents unless caused by gross negligence. Commercial clients are responsible for securing sensitive materials prior to service.

Homes or commercial spaces with aggressive pets, unsafe conditions, or hazardous materials must disclose this information prior to service. We reserve the right to refuse service if a situation is deemed unsafe.

9. Damages

Any claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. We will investigate all claims and determine responsibility at our sole discretion. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement, not to exceed the value of the damaged item.

10. Independent Service Providers

Cleaning services are performed by independent cleaning professionals who are authorized to accept service opportunities through Ascend Cleaning Pros. Ascend Cleaning Pros manages customer scheduling, billing, customer support, and quality standards, and serves as the primary point of contact for customers.

Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between Ascend Cleaning Pros and any service provider. Service providers maintain control over the manner and means by which cleaning services are performed, subject to agreed quality standards.

11. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason, including but not limited to unsafe working conditions, inappropriate behavior, repeated policy violations, or non‑payment.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under North Carolina law, Ascend Cleaning Pros shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

13. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or services provided shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located within the State of North Carolina.

14. Recurring Commercial Services & Termination

Commercial clients receiving recurring services may terminate service with a minimum of 14 days’ written notice. Failure to provide proper notice may result in applicable cancellation fees or final invoice charges.
